Coil on a Tube

Coil on a Tube

A strip brush “coiled and attached under tension” onto a tube. Often this type of brush will be considered a disposable unit due to the minimal investment in the tube, but tubes can be re-used. We manufacture simple to complex tubes in house, along with offering repair to “like new condition” and dynamic balancing as an option. For information on brushes that are not permanently mounted to a tube, see Loose Coil Brush.

We have a large selection of materials to choose from.

A coil brush with a large pitch, or few turns per ft. can resemble an auger, where a coil brush with a small pitch or many turns per ft. will give you the highest density. On on a high density coil brush the turns of the brush may not even be visible.
